My Little School girl!

Ava has really been into "school" lately. I got her this dry erase/magnetic board a few weeks ago and not a day goes by that she doesn't draw on it. She is really getting good at her letters and we started working on numbers this week. Here's a picture of her this morning. She can write all of the names in our family....isn't that neat and she is only 3!
Here is a card from some that I submitted for the PTI Guest Star stamper. My new color combo is Enchanted Evening, Hibiscus Burst, and New Leaf....isn't this a great combo! I used my new stamp set, Everyday Button Bits from PTI.....I love this set!

We're off to go feed the kitties and hang out outside for a while. Looks like it is going to be a nice day out there! I'll be back tomorrow with Lauren's color challenge!

What a smart little cookie you have :O) She's so cute holding her work for the photographer! Sounds like she will be ahead of the game when she starts school. Is she excited??

I love your card! I made one with that set recently but yours puts it to shame!! I might have to go back to the drawing board!! Oh, and I LOVE your new color combo :) How striking...gotta try it.

Hope all is well. Good luck with the guest star stamper submission.

ALicia I love this - it is adorable. Great color combo - have to check it out. I love this stamp set and really like the way you repeated all the elements in threes.

Alicia -
My son is 4 and not even close to writing like your DD... but we're still practicing!
Your card is fabulous - love the layout and colors. I actually made a note of them to try out later today.
Good luck with your submission to PTI!
Hugs,
Renee

Emelia's Frozen Party

Emelia's 4th birthday was all about Frozen like every other little girl turning 4!  She just loves to sing and dance to all the songs.  Here is her invitation.  She loved it!
A friend of mine showed me how to make cookies with royal icing. I love this new hobby abc I've been getting better at my detail work. Like I needed another hobby, but what the heck!  The kids love to help make the cookies too!

Emelia Rose is 2!

My how time flies! Our darling little Emelia Rose is 2 already. Where has the time gone?  She is solo sweet and funny and did I mention adorable too! Her signature pigtails just add to her cute little personality.

One of my favorite things she does now is every night at bedtime I put her in her bed and she says in her sweet little voice,"Sweep in my window!" She loves for us to lay in her window seat while she is getting to sleep! Now if we could only get her to stay asleep in her bed all night!

These are her two year highlights!

Favorite foods: only have found a couple she doesn't like, cantelope and chicken. Otherwise she eats everything on her plate and yours too!

Loves to carry around a purse

Wears her pigtails with her bows!

Loves to do things "myself!"

Still likes to have a bottle at night night time.

Gives the best hugs and kisses!

Loves her little kitten Dakota and carries her around all of the time! She likes to smoosh her in the back of her trike!

Prayer Request

As some of you know that follow my blog our son, Ethan, has cancer and he relapsed last August. I am saddened to say that Ethan's cancer has progressed and we did not receive a very good report from his Doctor. He is still feeling great and you can't see any signs of this physically, but we don't know what the future holds. So I will be taking a "break" from my stamping blog. I'm sure all of you understand that I'm needed elsewhere right now! Thanks to all of you that check in and for all your kind words. This will definitely be the hardest thing I've ever had to go through in my life. So go hug your kiddos and live each day to the fullest! Please keep my Ethan and our family in your prayers! GOD BLESS!
