Saturday Sketch......and my Kiddos!

It's Saturday! It's been an enjoyable morning already. I just spent the last 45 minutes snuggling with my Ethan watching cartoons on the couch. He loves to do that of a morning, Chicky does too, but she's still sleeping! Can you believe that one of my kids is actually sleeping in?? That is a rarity around here!

We had a "first" this week. Ethan started preschool! Oh my gosh was he excited. He said the night before that he had one more night of sleep, then get up, brush his teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast and it would be time to go to school, Right Mommy! That is exactly what he did....he didn't even give me a hug or kiss as he ran by me at 6:30 to go brush his teeth....oh he was too funny. He had the best day and he felt like such a big kid!!! I'm so proud of him and couldn't be happier for him. We'll be taking him just a couple days a week. I want him to experience it, but don't want to miss out on quality time with him at home either! Here's a picture of Ethan on his first day playing on the new tire swing!!!

Ava girl is a HUGE ice cream fan and I have a really funny picture of her to share too! I can't wait to scrapbook this!!! I have to share something funny about what she says. She gets on a kick of saying things and one of the things lately that she says is "Sometimes me do and sometimes me don't" Isn't that funny!

Now for my card sketches. My Mom played too....so you get 2 cards to take a peek at! I used the witch from Lizzie Anne Designs. Ava is going to be a witch and I thought this would be perfect. The paper is from Target at the dollar spot. It's really cute and I had some extra so Ethan could cut out spiders and pumpkins while I worked on my card. The ribbon I used was just from my "stash".....it matched perfectly though. All my cardstock is from SU, Green Galore and Orchid Opulence.

My Mom used a set from SU, called Loads of Love. The paper is kraft from PTI, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive from SU! This set is so versatile. Hope you enjoy our creations! I have several new cards and a scrapbook page to share so hopefully I'll get some time to do that this weekend! Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Here's Lauren's Sketch!

Such cute pics of the kids. Isn't snuggling on the couch watching cartoons THE BEST?! We just bought our kids the dvd set of the old Looney Tunes episodes. They had never heard of Bugs Bunny - can you imagine?!
Adorable cards. So cool that your mom is a stamper too.

I really enjoyed both you and your Mom's Cards. I loved her last one too! Tell her she is super talented!

I am trying to figure out what I can donate for the benifit, Ethan is just so cute! Our prayers are with your family now and in the future!

I got time to play with the Mytime sketch last night. I did 3 different takes on it. They are on my blog here:
