I saw on Jen del Muro's site about an MFT challenge.....so I thought I would play along. It's on the 20th of every month and the colors to use were pink/black/white. I love this color combo and I really like this set, Punny Farm. It's such a great set! I used SU's pink pirouette and basic black. The paisley patterned paper is adorable, but I have lost where I got this from. I used my cuttlebug with the paisley embossing folder to add a little touch at the bottom and of course I used ribbon. The pink satin is from PTI and the black gingham is from SU.
My cute little girl Ava! We just love this girl to pieces and on top of our son having a rough past year and a half with his battle of cancer, it has really effected our little girl too. It's so sad that when she sees her Grandmas that it takes her a little while to warm up now because she thinks that she is going to be left behind. She latches on to me like I am going to leave her forever. She does warm up though after a while and is fine....it's just getting her to that point. It's amazing how cancer effects everyone in the family, not just the patient.
Here is Ava strutting her stuff last night while we were having "movie night". We had popcorn and watched Shreck The Third. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a really good time!
Ethan is doing wonderful so we are so thankful for that. He is almost 4 weeks out of his first MIBG treatment. The scans are getting closer so the "worry days" are almost here. Right now the days are good because we are just having a good ol' time.
Thanks for checking in....I'll hopefully be back tomorrow to share a scrapbooking page with you.

Ava is absolutely adorable! Too cute :O) It tugs at my heartstrings thinking about her wondering if every time she goes to Grandma's house she's going to be left there :[ That's sad...but I love the honesty and sincerity of kids! No inhibitions at all...that aspect is the best :]
I love your card and also LOVE that color combination! It made me think of the month long challenge that SCS put out.
Did you know that SCS chose to support "Chemo Angels" this month (all month long)? I just took the time to read about it today and it immediately caught my interest. Apparently there are no restrictions on the challenge, they just ask that stampers make new cards rather than "cleaning out their stash". Deadline to send cards in is 3 Nov. Not sure if I'll get one (or more) finished and sent in time, but I'm going to try!
Thought I would share :O) Have a great night!
Hugs and prayers for your family! As the older sibling of a sister who spend the first 3 years of her life in the hospital, I know all too well about staying with grandparents, alot. She understands. She really does. Not that it isn't frustrating sometimes, but she knows that you love and adore her!! I do remember that my mom and dad would take an afternoon with just me. They would let me choose the activity and my sister would stay with a nurse for a little bit. It was very special to me.
I am sending you a huge hug and prayers too. It has to be tough to balance everything. You are doing an amazing job with your beautiful children!!!!!!!!
Oh, and your cards are pretty fantastic too!!! :)
