Needing Sleep!

Yes.....it's 4:20 in the am and I'm awake.....been up since 2:00! I've tried getting up an eating something because my stomach was upset, tried watching some tv and Ava woke up, went back to bed and just layed there.....I still have over 2 months to go too! I've been sleeping pretty good lately, so I shouldn't complain. Any advice from any moms that have been uncomfortable during your pregnancies too??
Ava and I had a good time on our trip to Michigan. Here are a few pictures to share of Ava on the beach. It literally rained nearly the entire time we were there. We did finally sneak about an hour on the beach on Friday afternoon. Ava had a ball playing with her sand toys and running to and from the waves.

We got to eat at a very good place for lunch on Thursday that served homemade crepes. I had a crepe with spinach, eggs, and goat cheese. It was so good. They served them with a salad that was equally as good. Ava got to have some ham and scrambled eggs so she was a happy camper too. Then there was this Swedish bakery just down the road from the cottage and oh my.....everything was just delicious from there. We ate from there twice and I brought home some extras too!

I haven't been home to stamp....I need to. I'm working today, but then will hopefully have time this week to get a few things done. I did make a frame for a friend of mine's daughter who is turning 6. I didn't stamp anything on it.....and I don't even have a picture of it to share....I'll have to get one this weekend at her birthday party! Hope all of you are still getting some zzzzz's. I'm going to head to the couch and attempt to get at least an hour more of sleep before morning!!!

So nice pics - thank you for sharing and wonder what things that you especially loved from the Swedish bakery - (since I am Swedish and living there). Let me know - and I can send you some recipes - maybe you can bake if you can't sleep ;-) Well - hope you soon will be able to. Kram (Hug in Swedish) - Anki

Happy Anniversary you lucky woman! I'm sorry it rained on you so much. Looks like Chicky enjoyed the beach time that she did get. I'm sorry that you can't sleep. Is this what God does to mothers to get them ready--for when the baby wakes up at all hours of the night???? I'm thinking he ought to let you rest up to get ready for that, but what do I know?? Hope to see you soon. Rosie

Great pictures of your little AVA... I have 4 children and every pregnancy got worse.. or I got less tolerable... but I slept with a pillow between my legs it may sound weird but it worked because I'm a stomach sleeper....
Good luck hope you get some sleep....

:( So sorry to read about your lack of sleep. Did I miss part of your post that mentioned your anniversary? I need to go back and re-read. I saw that Rosie congratulated you.

Anywho, glad you had a good time in Mihigan! Looks like Ava had fun also :)

Hope you get some sleep and some stamp time in!

It happened to me but just at the very end of pregnancy, I had to have four or more pillows to get some sleep, oh those days! :)
Ava is such a cute doll, I'm glad you had a good trip to Michigan. Take care and be happy :)

Love the pictures...so glad you had a relaxing weekend! I always had a glass of milk before bed with my pregnancies. Seemed to calm down any heartburn and help me sleep!

Beautiful pictures! I'm sorry you don't feel up to par, I remember clearly, I did find that ginger helped me, crystallized ginger, without sugar if you can find it. Trader Joe's makes some that is good or try finding some ginger tea or make your own with honey, so good and soothing. Good luck, it will be here before you know it!

Ava is an absolutely adorable little girl! I was huge with all of my pregnancies and found that using a body pillow between my knees helped me to sleep on my side (I am a tummy sleeper:). A cup of herbal tea is nice, too! Get your sleep - you know you're going to need it!

Emelia's Frozen Party

Emelia's 4th birthday was all about Frozen like every other little girl turning 4!  She just loves to sing and dance to all the songs.  Here is her invitation.  She loved it!
A friend of mine showed me how to make cookies with royal icing. I love this new hobby abc I've been getting better at my detail work. Like I needed another hobby, but what the heck!  The kids love to help make the cookies too!

Emelia Rose is 2!

My how time flies! Our darling little Emelia Rose is 2 already. Where has the time gone?  She is solo sweet and funny and did I mention adorable too! Her signature pigtails just add to her cute little personality.

One of my favorite things she does now is every night at bedtime I put her in her bed and she says in her sweet little voice,"Sweep in my window!" She loves for us to lay in her window seat while she is getting to sleep! Now if we could only get her to stay asleep in her bed all night!

These are her two year highlights!

Favorite foods: only have found a couple she doesn't like, cantelope and chicken. Otherwise she eats everything on her plate and yours too!

Loves to carry around a purse

Wears her pigtails with her bows!

Loves to do things "myself!"

Still likes to have a bottle at night night time.

Gives the best hugs and kisses!

Loves her little kitten Dakota and carries her around all of the time! She likes to smoosh her in the back of her trike!

Prayer Request

As some of you know that follow my blog our son, Ethan, has cancer and he relapsed last August. I am saddened to say that Ethan's cancer has progressed and we did not receive a very good report from his Doctor. He is still feeling great and you can't see any signs of this physically, but we don't know what the future holds. So I will be taking a "break" from my stamping blog. I'm sure all of you understand that I'm needed elsewhere right now! Thanks to all of you that check in and for all your kind words. This will definitely be the hardest thing I've ever had to go through in my life. So go hug your kiddos and live each day to the fullest! Please keep my Ethan and our family in your prayers! GOD BLESS!
