I love this color combo! I almost made a baby card and then decided to make a card with butterflies. I tried to create an embossed background with my inspiration being the brown pillow on the bed. I ended up without any flowers. Hope you enjoy. I'm adding this quickly as I need to get to bed. There is a golf tournament in the morning and the proceeds are going towards Neuroblastoma Research in Ethan's honor. I'm not golfing (not sure if I could get a club past my belly), but I will be there to cheer everyone else on! Hope everyone has a great weekend. I've been pretty busy this week so no creations to share from me! We did start making Kale's diaper bag yesterday so I'm anxious to have that finished up!

Alicia - totally adorable (the card AND AVA of course!) Love the curvy border on the left and the 'quilting' :)
OMG girl...this is soo cute! Love how you trailed the butterflies with rhinestones and scored the brown panel to resemble the pillow! How clever!! I love that pillow also...had to do something with it :)
Oh and what an absolutely perfect shot of Ava! You are a wonder with that camera...I gotta tell you!
Glad to hear they are having a golf tournament in Ethan's honor to raise money for Neuroblastoma Research! Hope they raise oodles of money and you have a wonderful morning cheering them on.
Can't wait to see Kale's diaper bag. I know his room is going to be absolutely adorable :O)
Alicia this is totally adorable - love the butterflies and the embossed brown paper - you totally captured the spirit of the piece - I, too, almost made a baby card, in fact I probably will go back and make one with those colors. Have a great weekend.
(sorry I hit return before I was done) Ava is just the cutest little girl ever - thanks for sharing your joys with us. Hope the golf tournament goes well.
Beautiful card Alicia! Good luck with the golf tournament! And fantastic pic of Ava, she is beautiful!
Love this, Alicia! Those butterflies are so pretty...I like the way you placed them on the card! Ava is getting so big! She's getting ready to be that big sis!
Love the card. Everything went together so nicely. Always looking for good ideas. As usual Ava's picture is adorable. You really are great with the camera. Every penny counts for research and I hope the tournament raised a good amount of money. Enjoy your weekend and don't forget to show us the bag when you are finished. Sandy from MD
THis is so sweet! I love your flying butterflies and the way you applied the embossed brown to your card.
Your little girl is a DOLL! Is that Papertrey ribbon I spy in her hair? :) Have a wonderful weekend
You created a very sweet card Alicia, love the butterflies and your embossing goes perfect with the theme of the card.
I hope all of you have a very good golf tournament day! Enjoy it!
